Lingden's reply to Balen, RPP does not do politics on dirt

Kathmandu - Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden has said that RPPA will not do politics on garbage.

He also said that there is no truth in the propaganda that the local leaders and workers of RPP are involved in the management of garbage in Kathmandu.

Balen Shah, Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, posted a status on Facebook mentioning that the ruling parties and opposition parties UML and RPP also blocked the road and did not allow waste management.

It was not easy to take away the garbage. The road was blocked under the leadership of the local leaders of the ruling parties, who were also supported by the local leaders of the opposition party UML and RPP, said Mayor Balen.

Targeting Balen, RPP Chairman Lingden wrote on Facebook on Tuesday - RPP does not do dirty things like politics in garbage. He has also claimed that the RPP is not involved in obstructing waste management.

"The RP is not and will not be involved in blocking vehicles carrying garbage," said Lingden. He said that false propaganda from a responsible place is not appropriate.
