
Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has reduced the price of petroleum products and sent new prices. According to Nepal Oil Corporation, the price of petrol per liter has decreased by Rs.1.80 paisa and the price of diesel has decreased by Rs.4.80 paisa. Similarly, the price of aviation fuel has come down by Rs.5 per liter.
Currently, the per liter price of petrol in the market is Rs.181 and diesel is Rs.172. Officials of the corporation say that even if it comes cheaply from India, there is a loss. After the new price, the corporation will have a loss of only 32 million rupees in 15 days.
While the price of fuel is continuously increasing, the price of fuel has decreased for the third time in a row. Earlier, the corporation was criticized for not reducing the consumer price after the price was reduced twice. Corporation sources have informed that they will hold a press conference on Tuesday to inform about whether or not to reduce the price this time.
