Parties recommending candidates

Kathmandu - The political parties of Myagdi have started the process of selecting candidates for the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly member elections to be held on November 20.

They have started the selection process by collecting the names of the candidates from the lower committee for the direct and proportional representation of the members of the House of Representatives and the Provincial Assembly.

The Nepali Congress has already recommended the names of the aspirants. CPN (Maoist Center) has collected Akakshi's name.

CPN (Unified Socialist) and Rashtriya Prajatantra Party have recommended candidates.

CPN 9 UML 0 has collected the details of possible candidates for Provincial Assembly members on Saturday. UML district president Devendra Bahadur Katuwal, vice president Balkrishna Subedi, leader Santosh Rawal, Kiran Sapkota, Lok Bhandari, Narayan JC, Hemukmari Pu, Shivkumar Baruwal, Prakash Paudel and Bel Bahadur Chokhal have submitted their claims for the direct candidates from UML in state assembly constituency (A).

On the proportional side, Bishnu Gurung, Ganesh Bahadur Bania, Jeevan Vick, Zafar Hussain, Khadg Giri, Yamkumari Garbuja and Siwani Lwagan have claimed.

Likewise, UML's Gandaki Provincial President and Constituent Assembly Member Navraj Sharma, Provincial Committee Member Ramchandra Gautam, Leaders Yam Bahadur Garbuja, Dhan Bahadur Gurung, Padmalal Sapkota and Yasoda Roka have claimed directly for Provincial Assembly Constituency (B).

On the proportional side, Kharmaya Bitalu, Srijan KC, Sita Gurung have claimed. UML Myagdi president Devendra KC informed that the names of the direct and proportional aspirants of the House of Representatives, recommended by the region of the state assembly, will be presented and discussed at the district committee meeting on Monday.

From the district working committee of Congress Myagdi held on Friday, the convention representatives and representatives of Gandaki province also recommended the names of 32 people who aspired to become candidates in the district working committee meeting.

District Secretary Hira Pun informed that District Chairman Kham Bahadur Garbuja 'Khambir', Constituent Assembly Member Resham Bahadur Banian and Party District Vice Chairman Karna Bahadur Bhandari 9KV0 have been directly recommended to the House of Representatives.

The names of Madhav Prasad Regmi, Netra Bahadur Mahat, Hira Bahadur Pun, Manakumari Vishwakarma, Vinakumari Khadka, Shri Prasad Roka Magar, Bhim Bahadur Roka Magar, Dil Bahadur Baruwal, Gopal Baniyan, Pratap Purja and Trilok Chand Vishkarma have been recommended for proportional representation in the House of Representatives.

Harikumar Shrestha, Om Chantyal, Min Bahadur Karki and Dam Bahadur Garbuja have been recommended as direct candidates in province 'A'.

The names of Bimala Gauchan, Anod Shrestha, Mukund Chantyal and Kamal Vishwakarma have been recommended on the proportional side.

Similarly, it has been unanimously decided to make Manmohan Budhathoki Chantyal a direct candidate in the State Assembly Constituency 'B'.

On the proportional side, the names of Khim Bahadur Purja, Devi Kumari Budha, Yam Bahadur Hermel, Tam Bahadur Thapa, Tejindra Thapa, Kamra Patel, Dil Bahadur Vick, Ram Devi Pun and Surendra Khatri have been recommended.

CPN (Unified Socialist) Myagdi has recommended Central Member and Myagdi District Co-incharge Gobind Subedi, Yam Shrestha, Central Member of Accounts Commission, directly to the House of Representatives.

On the proportional side, the names of Badri Pun (Dilu Tilija), Deuprasad Chantyal and Hom Bahadur Baruwal have been recommended.

CPN (Unified Samajwadi) district president Krishna Kumar Vishwakarma and vice president Hemraj Sharma have been recommended for the direct part of the state assembly constituency (A), while Muna Bania, Durga Karki and Dumbar Purja have been recommended for the proportional part.

Jayandra KC, Anup Gauchan, Mamta Jugjali, Rudra Kisan, Bam Bahadur Paija and Kalpana Sapkota have been recommended in the State Assembly Constituency (B) directly.

Constituent Assembly member and district in-charge Gobind Paudel, district coordination committee coordinator Resham Jugjali, state member and MP Vinod KC and central advisor Chandra Bahadur Ghimire have submitted claims for the post of members of the House of Representatives from Maoists.

Hari Bahadur Bhandari, Dhanlal Jaisi, Bagvir Paija, Sher Bahadur KC and Chandra Bahadur Ghimire in State Assembly 'A', Resham Jugjali, Arjun Thapa, Jhak Bahadur Chantyal, Khumnath Subedi and Chandra Prasad Budhathoki in 'B' have claimed as direct candidates.

According to the party, Krishna Bahadur Thapa on the proportional side, Tek Bahadur Bik, Yaman Roka, Gauri Century and Sukmayan Roka on the provincial side submitted claims to become candidates.

The RPP has recommended the names of Jagat Prasad Gauchan in the House of Representatives, Ram Bahadur Shahi in the State Assembly Constituency (A) and Hom Bahadur Thapa in 9K0.
